Sanderson, Royal Warrant Holder of 90 years, participate in the Coronation Festival
The Gardens at Buckingham Palace will be the venue for a one-off event this summer for holders of Royal Warrants to celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation. Sanderson will be taking part in the four day celebration between 11-14 July 2013. The Coronation Festival will celebrate innovation, excellence and industry showcasing the broad range of fine brands, including Sanderson, which have earned the recognition of a Royal Warrant. Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to the Households of The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh or The Prince of Wales.
This is also a milestone year for Sanderson, who are celebrating their 90th consecutive year as a Royal Warrant Holder, the first of which was granted by King George V in 1923. It is an honour of which we are very proud.

Sanderson is delighted to have won a Homes & Gardens Fabric Award 2012
Sanderson won the Best Small-Print Fabric Award from the Homes & Gardens Fabric Awards 2012.
On 21st September 2012 at Royal Hospital State Apartments Chelsea, Sanderson were proud to accept the Best Small-Print Fabric award for 'Tribeca' from the Colour for Living collection
Sanderson were also runners up with 'Boxhill' for 'Best Print', and 'Angel Ferns' for 'Best Print under £30'.

The New Designers Sanderson Award 2012
Here at Sanderson, we are great believers in supporting new and upcoming designers, which is why we sponsored London’s annual New Designers Awards 2012.
In July 2012 we were delighted to present Joanna Srokol (pictured left), from Edinburgh College of Art, The New Designers Sanderson Award with her 'Hand painted abstract panels interpreting the Polish landscape'. We found her work to be a "Superb example of observed colour applied to textile design. We found these fabrics poetic and emotive". We enjoyed working with Joanna during her placement and wish her every luck in the future.

Nina Saunders and Sanderson come together to support WWF for Pandamonium Charity Event
Fashion Designer Nina Saunders and Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings collaborated for a
design-led WWF charity event hosted by Pandamonium. Pandemonium celebrates and supports 50
years of WWF; this year, challenging leading names in the art, fashion and design worlds to create
wearable sculpture in aid of WWF’s Campaign for a Living Planet.
Nina Saunder’s creation, ‘Patterns of Desire’, plays with the function of the object with its random
playfulness and dream-like sensibility, questioning our subconscious and the world we inhabit. She has
chosen Sanderson’s Rose & Peony fabric from the Classic Linen’s Collection.
The event took place on May 24th 2012 in London’s Hyde Park and included a dinner and catwalk
show,with designs by Zaha Hadid, Hussein Chalayan and Nina Saunders.
